I love running and I love wine. I can’t imagine anything better than combining those two loves so I’m super excited that I’ll have the opportunity to do just that at the inaugural Youngberg Hills Half! This brand new race in the heart of beautiful Oregon wine country is being hosted by Youngberg Hills Winery and Inn located in McMinnville, Oregon.
Imagine running amidst gorgeous farms in the Willamette Valley, world-renowned for the wines produced there. You’ll run along paved rural roads, past beautiful country estates, and over rolling hills adorned with the essence of wine itself while taking in views of Mt. Hood.

The Youngberg Hill Half also boasts a 5k and 10k race. The half marathon course is an out-and-back route that begins and finishes at the winery. Runners will receive complementary food and beverages (wine I hope!) after they cross the finish line and participants of the half marathon will be presented with a medal. All entrants will receive a technical tee shirt with registration.
Following the race, the winery will be open for tasting and the grounds available for you to relax and marinate in your post-race bliss (wine infused or not!). The Youngberg Hill Winery is a 25-year-old vineyard that is farmed organically and set atop 50 stunning acres. It is absolutely amazing!
